The principal function of this role will be to act as Obzervr’s Senior Business Development Manager for Australia. You will be responsible for growing Obzervr’s sales revenue, focusing on net new sales of the company’s market-leading enterprise products and services.

Education and Qualifications required for this position

  • You have a post-secondary degree
  • Experience with digital platforms, Web, Mobile, Cloud, SaaS
  • High level of computing skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook; SharePoint, MS Project, Asana

Role Objectives 

  • Acquiring net new customers, driving business growth with a focus on Mid Market & Large Enterprises
  • Generating leads via prospecting, cold calling and networking
  • Navigate short and long-term sales cycles across multiple lines of business & departments within an organisation
  • Maintaining and fostering key relationships within prospects
  • Selling to C-Level Executives / GM Operations / Head of Workforce Development / Digital Transformation Leads
  • Deal management across multiple stakeholders – Exec/ Operations / IT / HR
  • Deliver awe-inspiring product demos, provide insightful technical answers, and structure commercial agreements
  • Deal negotiation and execution
  • Upselling Obzervr’s additional solutions & services offerings
  • Participate in marketing activities to drive new business, with a focus on client events
  • Executive presentations and webinars
  • Manage pipeline and reporting within Obzervr’s CRM, forecasting and relates sales rhythm of the business activities
  • Provide product expertise, understanding of the digital landscape for field data services enablement to sell a vision for how companies can change the way they work

Skills and experience required for success

  • Strong sales leader with 3-5 years of professional experience in B2B software sales
  • Proven track record of building strong C-level relationships, closing deals while exceeding sales targets
  • Experience deploying SaaS platforms across enterprise organisations and driving long-term engagement
  • Interested in enterprise software, great products, dynamic start-up environments and the business of innovation
  • Keen ability to translate complexity into simple and intuitive actions plans and communications
  • Strategic thinker who is comfortable in a fast-paced, always-on technology business
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving product and respond strategically to customer needs
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside Obzervr
  • Experience meeting multiple objectives in an entrepreneurial environment with little supervision
  • Strong analytical ability and outstanding communications skills

Remuneration

  • Base + Commission + Superannuation based on past performance
  • Annual Salary review
  • Incentives depending on company, team and individual performance
